Saburomaru Ⅳ The Emperor Single Malt Whisky 700ml 48%
In 2020, Saburoumaru Distillery undertook two different peating processes: one using Highland peat from Scotland’s inland regions and another with Islay peat. Highland peat delivers a strong, direct smokiness, with a dry, woody character reminiscent of burning seasoned timber. The introduction of wooden fermentation vats has enabled unique lactic acid fermentation, resulting in a whisky that balances fruity and malty characteristics.
